Hi folks, after seeing the pictures of the roast dinner done in a cadac elsewhere on here I`m tempted to invest in one, probably only the safari chef after seeing the size of the box for the carri chef, but I was wondering if I can use the 904/907 gas bottles with it and if so which model do I need. I think there were 4 different tickboxes showing (I assume) different models on the box when I looked at them in Go the other day.
When we first got our cadac it was used with a 904 / 907 - it was a bit better with the 907 and it also works out cheaper on the gas as well. We now use a standard 6 kg propane.
I'm trying out every sunny day a different type of meal ready for our camping trip around The Alps next month or so.
The 904/907 bottles do work, you just need the correct regulator, we upgraded to the 6/9 Kg bottles just so we don't have to replace as often. (plus the 904/907 bottles are easy to store)

Thats the one, I`m getting hungry just looking .
Just got back from Tesco armed with a load of old clubcard vouchers, where I ordered a carri chef delux for the princely sum of £14 after doubling my points up . Now where`s that roasting tray??
Hi, it's the Carri Deluxe version, just bought the paella dish today from Go for £23.95 and well chuffed with it, no more fat or food fall off the ALDI paella dish.
Looking forward to using it tomorrow for the first time.
