hi its a cooler for boats due to the fact it has uv inhibitors built in to the material to stop the white discolouring also the one being sold on amazon are being sold by people getting them to order from costco this cooler is a discotinued version as the new version is now called the ultra 48 which has better insulation now and new improved hinges personaly i would look at the Igloo Maxcold range as these are 5 day coolers and will preform better than the marine version as they are 3 day coolers
