Wonder if anyone can help me? We have a tent carpet which doesn't stay in place in our tent, constantly moving and was toying with the idea of putting stick-on velcro to stop it moving around. Would anyone recommend certain type, or do you suggest any other ideas we could use.
Thanks,
Kev

Hi, I think Ikea used to sell - and may still do so (or other carpet shops) that rubbery mesh stuff by the metre, which you can put under rugs to stop them slipping. They'd stop carpet creep in a tent too. How about Dunelm Mills as well?
This is the kind of stuff (often used to stop things on a tray from sliding when carried). Non-slip matting
We tried velcro on our carpet for the same reason and it didn't work so I invested in some elastic and nappy pins, loop the elastic through various anchor points round the edge of the tent, loop over and pin to carpet, worked perfectly

When we had picnic rugs down, not carpet, we used to use a tiny bit of duct tape just to hold the outside edge corners down. Worked fine and no problems peeling it off or anything.
