Does anyone know where i can get a tarp thats not polyester please?
We have the vango adventure tarp but i have to say it was rather hot under there this weekend so i was thinking a cotton/polycotton may be better?
I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but that's preferable to repeating it...
If anyone is looking for an affordable poly tarp/awning...
10T tents online are a German supplier of tents, including some polycotton ones at discount prices (suppliers vary).
Their polycotton stuff is generally well thought of especially for the price, and they do 2 polycotton tarps, 9m2 and 16m2 with robust poles and guys for a little over £40 for 16m2.
Mightily impressed with the one I got.
Thanks for the info as have been looking at those 10T tarps online and also really like the polycotton safari bell tents they do with the windows. Ive messaged the company a few times and they have always replied quickly.

Excellent... Very pleased with the material for the tarp and it's finishing. The material is stated as 80% polyester and 20% cotton, but it feels like a quality 65% cotton and 35% polyester, and a nice tight weave.
I've heard good things about their polycotton tents to as far as quality goes. That touareg tent (is that the safari you refer to?) looks really nice for the money
I have the "Tatonka 4" polycotton tarp and it worked a treat this year, really nice tarp. The one we have is 4m x 3m and it provided a much appreciated canopy out the front of our tent. There are other sizes in the Tatonka range.

I meant the Desert 8 bell tent style but interested in the Safari touareg one too. Looked at so many I keep getting mixed up, but both look great

Indeed, but I don't think 10T/Spreen/Camping Outdoors marketing helps, as sometimes some of the range are available and sometimes not, and prices vary amongst on line retailers a lot (Sounds a bit like Sports Direct, and it's offshoots!)
Now had the tarp up a couple of times, and very impressed, and so much cheaper than most?
