These ones

Does anyone have one?
Are they really big enough for two adults? I'm wondering if the models in the product pic are teeny tiny size 6 waifs.
How high is it when used as a single bed?
Is it comfortable enough as an air bed?

My mum wants to come camping with us but wants to be up off the floor (she's 75). Rather than getting a camp bed just for one or two trips I wondered if it would be better to get this, which I would actually use as a camping sofa in the longer term.

I don't have these but there have been many threads done on this. Have a wee look on the search facility. There were 9 threads about these sofas. That will keep you busy until other folks come along to answer your questions.

I have one:
Are they really big enough for two adults? not really, I use it for myself and my 3 year old but do keep the back & arms inflated

How high is it when used as a single bed? Not really thought about this but only useable as a single bed if you're under 120cm tall ie child.

Is it comfortable enough as an air bed? I may not have had it inflated enough or it may be better if the arms are deflated and put the other way (upside down). I could feel the join across the middle, it was ok to sleep on for a few nights but not great.

I wouldn't recommend this for a 75 year old lady! I would imagine a cheap camp bed with single airbed on top would be a better combo and still useable as a sofa with a few cushions.

we own one and it works just fine as a sofa for us...it's very comfy sofa too...i'm 5 foot 6 and my OH is 5 foot 10 and we use ours to lounge on in the evenings to watch films...even tho it will take an awful lot more weight than the two of us can throw at it, due to the design the back does "recline" a little when we both lean back against it, however it's still perfectly workable...a 75 year old may need a little help getting out of it tho as it can at times be a bit like fighting your way off a bouncy castle...!!

we've never used it as a lilo, but when laid out flat it's height is slightly more than a regular lilo, so doubled up it might be suitable for your mum...you'd probably have to find a way of securing the two parts tho to stop them slipping about and making things unstable...

Thanks Tynxuk. That's pretty much what I've concluded from reading the other threads. Camp bed it is!

camp bed with a sim on it would be kind to older frames ;)

We have the sofa bed and it's comfy buy not very supportive and using one layer on top of the other it's short and wobbly ( bit like myself, lol)

I got mine last week for £20, worth it for a few outings as they're definitely not built to last - it's really quite thin, and can also be very very hot if sitting in the sun and you touch it ( because it's black)
