Hi Guys

Just thought it might be worth mentioning that Aldi's Thursday Special today is The Adventuridge Themoelectric Cool Box.

I've been this mornign for one. And although not used it yet it looks the part and seems rather sturdy.

Best bit is - it's only £34.99 - Bargain.

Just thought I'd make you aware.

I've been trying mine out this morning...it seems to stop completely when you switch it to Eco mode..does anyone know if this is normal or do I have a defective one?

Hi, joolbzbob, I just wrote on another thread to see if you had seen the eco switch, be cause of it runs quieter.  Mine still runs fine on eco, just much quieter and slower.

Thanks Suzy...mine doesnt seem to be running at all on Eco unless I'm missing something, no noise & the fans not moving, think maybe I have duff one

The "eco" setting isn't thermostatically controlled, no ? If it was, that could explain it if the temp was already low. What does the manual say ?

The manual says that it will just cool to 8 degs on eco so maybe if yours was cooler than that when you switched it over it hasn't needed to start up?

Yes I think you're both right...it prob didnt start as the temp was already low, now its coming on intermittently, theres me flapping for nothing lol, thanks

We got one this morning (made the hubby queue up in time for the store opening - at 8am!! )
I am really impressed with the quality for the price and I have tested it out for a few hours and it seems to work a treat. I am well chuffed
