Hi all

Can anyone recommend a great sleeping bag please (not mummy style) preferable XL size for me. Dont want to spend much money. Can I get a great sleeping bag for about £20-25 (sorry on a tight budget)?. Would like 2-3 season as I feel the cold.

Also need sleeping bags for children. Again as cheap as poss.

I just wondered really if there were good and bad to look out for.

Thanks

Kim

Do you know anybody with a Costco card, because they have sleeping bags in at the moment - although they are mummy style they are large bags, and you don't get that constricted feeling that you get in a normal sized mummy bag. Your body is free to move around without the bag twisting around you.
I bought myself and did try it out - really warm and comfy. The only problem is that my dog couldn't get in with me - so my daughter has been able to take over it.   She has tried it and decided that it is epic and now hers. (Tested garden camping - and one night it was really cold.)

Hi try the Argos eBay outlet might not have anything suitable for you if you want XL but the 300gsm may be ok for the kids, I've got one from there very similar and it's lovely and warm £13 inc delivery

Tesco has a Gelert large sleeping bag at the moment - can't remember how much, either £20 or £30 I think. They are like the pod ones

Hi, a lot of people prefer to take their duvets from home with extra fleece blankets etc. It's also the cheapest option. Worth considering if budget is tight and you've other stuff to pay for.

I have a pod style one called sleep cell I believe. It's great because you have room to move! I saw similar ones in one of the big ASDA stores earlier in the year at £25 I think. Definitely go xl.
