Had a Raised Quickbed Queen Airbed for just about two years and it's been brilliant. Over the jubilee weekend we had it go down on us a little the first night.
Second night put some more air in and when I was putting the plug back in I felt air coming out after closing. Pulled out and soon discovered that their double lock had failed
Tried to put air in and it held a little but soon started to leak as I introduced my oversized body
I didnt want to glue or fix as I felt this should not have gone with such little use. We popped out enxt day and bought a cheap Gelert double bed for £20 which worked for the rest of the holiday.
On arrival home I contacted Coleman with image, only to be told I have to take it back to Towsure where I bought it, but as most people, I tend not to keep receipts.
So any tips on fixing or replacing?
Or shall I just try a frame bed etc and ditch airbeds?
Cheers

I had similar problem with the twin size. I cancelled a camp trip as a result; because of my mobility I needed something reliable. Like several others I ditched it and bought a good camp bed.

We have a Coleman air bed with the same sort of valve. Its been great for the last 3 years, but I have found that the rubber around the valve plug seems to be getting very stiff and inflexible. This makes it difficult to remove the valve to let the air out, and quite alot of twisting and pulling is needed to remove it.
Did you have a similar problem? I am worried that mine will break in exactly the same way as yours has. And I like our airbed and would replace it with another, but I don't want it to let us down (literally!!) in the middle of the night.
The valve always seemed soft and malleable, maybe that is why it failed. Going to have a go at repairing it, but not sure how to go about it, as it a flexible joint that moves a lot.

We moved to campbeds years back after many flat airbeds, good luck with fixing it though.
We have also just bought a camped/sim combo, still wouldn't mind fixing as a great first bed.

With faulty goods, you simply need to prove purchase. This could be the receipt but any other legitimate record e.g. a bank statement, credit card statement should be fine. If you paid by card and can prove it this should be ok.
The one thing working against you is that it is over two years since you made the purchase. If Coleman offer a lifetime warranty on the item they may give you an exchange. However I agree with you and doubt whether you will get any help from the store because of the length of time but nothing ventured nothing gained.
This site is littered with posts where people have complained of air beds leaking. Aero beds seem to fair better. I personally love self inflating mats- others hate them What you find comfortable to sleep on is quite a personal thing.
That will be a really tough fix because it is in such an awkward spot. I have tried and failed to fix similar damage on a kids bicycle tyre. The air pressure behind was just to much for all the glues that I had and you can't patch fix it because of what it is.
If you have a steady hand you could try a two part glue and try that but don't get your hopes up.

Good grief. Was just going to start a thread on this. I have had 2 coleman doubles that have both failed like the picture in the op. The last one went on the first night of our trip to the Star nr Alton Towers last week. Not a happy camper !!
I think I may have to pay a bit extra and look at the aerobed active.
