We have put our canvas awning in the garage draped over garden chairs, the lawn mower etc - we left the doorslightly open & kept turning it. Other have suggested over bannisters, any room in the house or in the garden draped over garden chairs.
I did go for over kill & put a fan heater on low for a day.

we just draped our awning over the furniture in the front room with the dehumidifier & just kept turning it til it was dry

we just got home with our awning absolutely soaked, tried putting it in the garage to dry so wet outside no joy, then the sun came out (yes i tell no lie ) me and the wife put it over the garage it was an almost perfect fit , and it dried in no time , i will now attach brackets to the garage to do this ! after several years of this problem dont know why i never thought of it before lol
