my OH just got this for his birthday. I am very jealous and wherever possible get in it first and he has my rubbish one! Lol

What make are they and do they have a steel bar that runs across under the legs? That's the part I found really uncomfy on the ones we tried but they were quite cheap models.

its an outwell one. It doesnt have any legs underneath the seat part and is really thickly padded, so is dead comfy. Also, we are both on the large side and so find it roomy enough for our big bums!

That sounds promising, that bar under the legs is a killer.

Thanks

Would it be one of these?

As I said yesterday we bought 2 chairs from riversway leisure Riviera type they are 2 for £59 we bought the charcoal type they have arrived today just got one out the box it has padded seat and back with shock cord along the sides. Just like the lafumas. Multi position recliner through the arm rest, it has an adjustable head cushion. I have just sat on it and seems very comfortable. Honest opinion a really good buy if you are needing some chairs they are worth a look but believe they have limited stock.

We have just bought HiGear Kansas Folding chairs, we spent ages in GoOutdoors testing them all and found these sturdy and very comfortable.

I bought the cheapy zebra stiped one from tesco today - I just put it up and was  amused to see in the instructions it says "not to be used under the influence of alcohol" - I'm not doing without my glass of rioja in the evening!!!!!

We have the Hi Gear Kentucky chairs too - love them, and the addition of one of the cheap camping stools as a foot rest is highly recommended

We have the quest sandringham elite sl 6 postion chairs, they are light weight very comfortable and durable, priced between £34.99-£39.99.

we have had sooooo many cheaper camping chairs and after 1 weekend use or 1 week use they break so decided to spend a bit more and we are so pleased we did.

The only problem we have is we only got 2 and our 2 teenage daughters appear to like them as much as we do so need to get a couple more.

what we ended up doing was going to a showroom and testing out all of the ranges there, then after deciding which ones we wanted we then went home and found them cheaper online.

normskideb - thats what I am trying to say to everyone. We went to a couple of camping showrooms to see what was on the market and tried them all out. Dont forget a lot of these chairs are badged with their own sellers name not the manufacturers name. We have 2 Lafuma and these have been copied and that is why i originally posted riversway leisure. They are £5 to £10 cheaper than yours they are padded yours aren't they have head rests yours don't. I am not trying to rubbish you purchase I really did find a bargain. See for yourself.... http://www.riverswayleisure.co.uk/acatalog/info_103731PK.html
