Hi , I have the whale pressure system on my caravan and I have bought the blue food quality pipe that plugs directly into where the pump fits , therefore giving water all the time ( no barrel used ).
The problem I'm experiencing is that the plug in connector gets pushed out by the water pressure.
Is this something I have to put up with or does sound like the connector should be a better fit ?
Anybody have the same problem ?

Try a none return valve or a pressure release valve thats about the only thing I can think of.Ian

Cheers thanks for that , certainly something I can consider.

My gut feeling is that the connections are not correct , just by the way that they sit together, I need to try another Whale fitting to see how well that one fits.

The Whale fitting shouldn't detach itself at all as there's a pressure reducer in the head and the fitting should cope with this permanantly attached (albeit Whale recommend tap turned off when not in use or van empty).

I'd suggest checking a different fitting if possible, but maybe you've some wear to the original water inlet on the van, preventing proper 'grip' of the connection.
How does it hold with the conventional pump, assuming you still have this to try?

If the pressure reducer in the pipe is not functioning correctly you may have mains or near mains pressure at the inlet. The direct hose system with the pressure reducers normally have a lower pressure at the caravan inlet than a pump system. I would be concerned that the pressure reducer on the hose is not working or is missing.
