I've never had a caravan but I seem to recall, when these have been discussed before(possibly elsewhere?),folk recommended sitting them on a sturdy board when using them on grass, as they sink in...and in doing so end up getting jammed in place.
(..as I say, we don't have a van, so don't know how true that is..).
Probably a daft question but doesn't just a selection of ply boards/similar, do the job?...Pull onto pitch, "guesstimate" what thickness of pads you need, roll back a little, then roll forward onto ply pads ?(...that's how I've watched my brother pitch his up on umpteen occasions).
Are these just another "must have" camping/caravanning gadget...?
