Just back from hols, first time with the oven.

Didn't get a Lidls one as we didn't have them at the same time as you 'over there'

But got a very similar one locally.

Once I got over the thought of taking an electic oven camping . Found it was a really good move. Managed to 'obtain' an extra shelf ( don't ask ) which made life a lot easier. Ready made lasagna etc. cooked to perfection, large square pizza cut in half, one on each shelf, garlic bread & a bottle of plonk, heaven.

Half baked long life bread rolls cooked in 10 mins. Not forgetting 4 slices of evenly cooked toast at the same time.

Thanks guys I never would have thought of it.

I bought one from Lidl when they had them over here and used it when we went away. It was great cooked a full sized pizza no problems. My microwave is from Lidl bought it six years ago and use it all the time. I have no problem with Lidl stuff.

have been looking at getting one of these and called in to aldi in reading yesterday and they had loads in there. did consider buying one but on the box it says mini oven for warming????? will they only warm and not cook?

The aldi one is considerably smaller than the lidl one and far less features. I just grilled burgers sausage and belly pork on our lidl one when weather put paid to our outside bbq.

Scrunchkins you wont regreat it. .

We saved a fortune eating in, when in Switzerland. 45 Sf for a 'light meal' for 2, 85 SF for a decent evening meal with pudding & 2 small beers. Ok not everything cooked in the oven but really opened up the menu. & fresh cooked rolls for the days hiking, much cheaper than the one's from the camp shop & not so heavy .

Been to Lidl in Rochdale and they had about 8 of these left so I grabbed one :)

Also the Aldi in Rochdale had a few kitchen stands for 12 quid reduced, so I grabbed 2 of them :)

Yip, it's the Argos one I have. It's a great wee piece of equipment. I use it a lot at home in the kitchen. It's a bit of a pain to take away as we struggle for space but when it does go it is worth it.
