We're approaching a holiday to France in August, and we've recently had out our airbeds that we bought last year. One of our girls had been sleeping on it, just playing camping indoors :-)
By the morning it was pretty much flat. It was one from Aldi with the three year warranty.
To be honest this is just another airbed bought in a series of airbeds that have ultimately failed dismally.
We've bought cheap ones from Argos which we had replaced under warranty, but the replacements just were as useless. We then bought Coleman/Camping Gaz ones, which again we had replaced under the year warranty as they went down. Then finally the ones from Aldi.. we had high hopes seeing as they had a three year warranty, but they just seem as cr*p as all the rest.
I don't want to go down the Aerobed (?) route, spend a small fortune, for them only to be useless too.
I've squirted soapy water all over this Aldi one, and I can't see any visible leaks... pain really.
I've been looking on a few online camping shops, and at the self inflating mats. Some come with puncture repair kits which in itself makes me think these will be equally prone to going down.
I just don't understand it, we never over inflate, the airbeds are on the tent carpet, and are generally handled with care... guessing that they simply don't make things to last.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks in advance
