For wide neck bottles, for boys or girls with a shewee, use an empty fabric conditioner bottle. A wide neck, and the bottle isn't see through so no embarrassment taking it to the loos in the morning.

Well only the embarrassment of everyone wondering why you are carrying a fabric softener bottle into the loos
Large milk bottle for me and a bucket and pine smelling cat litter in a plastic bag for my loverly lady. Empty milk bottle in the bucket in the morning and throw away plastic bucket loo-liner every other day: sorted!
No large: "look! There goes the sh*t brigade!" containers. Just a humble plastic, tied plastic bag with congealed kitty litter in the bin and it smells nice, too. Also bio degradable so we're good for the environment, as well, apart for the plastic bag but a paper bag is so messy...
We also use the Highlander and have a 'trug' underneath for any potential holes in the bags - was caught only once with a dam hole!!! Trugs are so useful - loo thru night, bucket for iced water and beer, fire bucket, for soaking sore feet etc - you can get then in Asdas for next to nothing.
Wilkinson plus, online, aso do a folding loo that looks just like the Highlander. It only costs £12 if I remember correctly. I have bought one for this summer- just for emergency night weeing- and have a pack of old disposable nappies that I plan to pop inside to soak it all up. perfect solution! I hope!!
