Hi, just popped into singers outdoors to get some more of these cylinders for our ten days in Cornwall, and got the last 2! He said not sure when any more will come in. We go on 7 July and a member reckoned we would need about 6 for a 10 day trip. I have 4 now. Anybody know where I can get 2 more? Got a brand new stove to try out? Thanks, Anne
Hi Anne, the shop is called sky blue leisure I checked the website but they are out of stock as well.I phoned the Coleman helpline and they should be back in stock soon. Do you have EHU? we have a Coleman perfectflow which is a great bit of kit but we are looking into obtaining an adapter hose which will enable the use of a bulk Calor tank.Depending on usage 4 cylinders may see you through if you just use it for an evening meal, if you use it to brew up and cooked breakfast as well you may struggle.
I am also looking into an adapter for this cooker as my friend has this cooker and has never been able to find gas for it and therefore it is still in its box and has never been used.
Would you be able to advise me of the type of converter that is needed?
I will admit that I havent got around to going to our local Calor depot yet! On ebay you can get an adaptor hose from the USA which joins the stove hose/regulator to a bulk propane cylinder but carriage is the killer I am afraid will update if I find anything locally!
If you look back for past threads ther is one tellingyou exactly what you need and how to refill the little cylinders(keep your empty ones and If I remember it involves putting them in the freezer before filling them up)
You can buy the adaptor on eBay without it coming from the USA. WE got one but have never got round to refilling the little cylinders - got loads of empties though
Do a post FAO Bobsbabes as I know they have refilled the little ones from onr of the large Calor Gas Propane cylinders
