wondered if anyone could help me with recomendations - My son (2.5yrs) has slept in a baby nitestar since we started camping with him, but it seems this will be the last season he fits in it! So back to e-bay and amazon etc to look for a 'junior' sleeping bag!
Recomendations anyone? I've seen a couple that are 2 season - we only really camp from easter to August, but in a tent with no heating etc so wondered if a 2 season would be enough for him.
We used Outwell kids dino (picture of dinosaurs i it) , they now do a normal square bag but we have the mummy style top to them, which we koved as i wedged daniels pillow into it. They also have a matching sim whicb is perfect for kids, we put a fleece blanket under it and then he was snug as a bug.
Incidently...... I have both of the above surplus to requirenents as my son is very tall for his age so he now uses an adult bag. I was goi g to put them of ebay in the next few days.
My little girl still uses hers and loves them.
------------- Fab time in France again.... Roll on next year!
We have the sun camp polka dot for our youngest, it has a built in pillow and she loves it, she even has one for her bed at home now as she sleeps so much better in it,
Think we got it from jacksons of old alley, not sure if they do mail order
2 season should be fine, just take extra blankets in case it goes cold.
------------- Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
We have a gelert junior bigga bag for our lo. She's a wriggler and would find a normal kiddie bag too restricting. The bigga bag is as wide as an adults but shorter, and is also semi-mummy. It has an extra bit where the head goes, but isn't fully enclosed, although you can pull a draw string to make it slightly more enclosed.
