Whilst we enjoy the delights of our tin tent, in all weather it is the rain especially i like, being able to sit in the awning and listen to the rain on the awning roof, the caravan roof it much worse and much loader. As for amusing our selves, well the kids full body wet suits and wellies, they play out in all weather and us well might sit in the awning reading or listening to music, otherwise its a case of find the nearest highest point around and work out which direction the rain is coming from, and where the sun or brighter sky is and head off in that direction for the day, its not fool proof, but if you pack for a rain shower you will be ok.
I appreciate in a tent it harder to get dry, especially with no EHU, but you get used too it.
just enjoy
