Would This be OK on EHU & has anyone got one or similar, we currently use an Ezetil 70 odd litre cooler box but it keeps melting the 12v plug so decided it was time for a change, dont like the 3 ways as the usable space of the units are a joke. Any thought please. Oh an added bonus of ice for long cold G&Ts if we ever get any sun.

When we had a Sunncamp 400SE we had one of those fridges and had no problem whether in the UK, France or Spain.
We now have one of these, which has far more space inside albeit far more expensive, but can have it on whilst on route to site.

That was the reason we changed..more usable and although slightly smaller than the one you are considering we find we can get more in the one we now have.
We also find it far easier to get things in and out as you don`t have to have it at table height because the lid lifts up.
It is a personal choice and the one in your post did us well, catering for 4.

I bought one of these two years ago and it has been a fantastic purchase. I keep mine up on an IKEA table when camping that I got for 5 pounds and its a lovely height so no back problems - it stores loads of food/liquids and everything is easy access. The one downside is that its heavy (I'm a lightweight female) and quite bulky in the boot of the car (it takes up about one-third of my golf-estate boot size). For this reason I decided to buy a coolbox (top-lid) this year for short camp trips, but I must say that I really don't like it because the food I want to get at somehow always seems to be at the bottom of the fridge and I'm always rummaging around and emptying out the top contents to get to the things down below ... hate that. An open-door fridge like you have in mind means you don't have this issue. Good luck, Humbird
