We bought this lovely from trailer ebay earlier in the year.

Now I'm getting to the point of using it, the question has to be as its a custom build, what tyre pressure should I drive on?

Check the MAX tyre presure & put about 75% off that in, it should work out around 30psi

From the listing I note it has 10 inch wheels on it.

Our Daxara 148 (rebadged and uprated Erde 143) has 10 inch wheels with 500 x 10 tyres. The pressure for these (as reccomendd by the manufacturer - http://erde.fr/GB/notices/UK/NOTICE%20143%20UK.pdf ) are 50 psi, 3.5 bar. Tyre pressures for different tyres are listed at the bottom of the assembly instructions.

Best to check exactly which tyre you have on. This might not apply to a custom build but I can't see why not.

God luck in finding out.

Cheers

That's great I'll go by that. Wonderful. I guess if I'm bouncing I'll have to stop at the next services and deflate. But I think I'd sooner be over than under and overheat the tyres... a 270 mile trip when I've never towed before seems a little daunting. But thanks for all your advice.

Our first camping trip towing was 360 miles there. It did seem a little daunting before hane but the trip was a breeze. We did know which roads to avoid so that we did not get in the position of having to revrse. At first the tyre pressures looked high to us but we have not had problems with them.

Cheers

My first trip with a trailer was last year, South Devon to Fort William. The trip was no problem at all and I found it easier towing than with all the kit in the car (2 adults and 3 children plus tent and kit for 2 weeks). Just watch speed and remember to brake slowly and progressively. tyre pressure in our trailer (much the same as yours) is 36psi.
Enjoy your trip!
