Hi longtime member but don't tend to post on here just lurk in the background but had to share this ;)
Went into my local GoOutdoors on Sunday to buy another HiGear Windbreak seeing they were on sale at £17.99 only to find none on the shopfloor.So went & found a sales assistant to ask if they had any "oh yes we have plenty in the bay come & I'll show you"so off we go to where I had already been "oh there isn't any here but there is a reduced 1 without poles if you are interested ?" he says eh off course not what good is it without the poles lol was my reply,so I asked if they had any in stock so off he went to check the computer & 10 mins later comes back yes plenty showing so he went through the back another 10 mins or so pass & once again he appears "I'm having a nightmare trying to find them so going to ask somebody about them" & off he trots.More walking about the shop patiently waiting for him to finally appear again only to be told that he's sourced the windbreaks but they are in a container which is locked but nobody can find the key !!
So basically they took my name & number & promised to honour the price when they finallay find the key so lo & behold after phoning them a couple of time yesterday (Monday) to be told still not found the afore mentioned key they phone me today & say they've got it & going to honour the price so well done GoOutdoors for finally coming up good :0
shame they never offered me that kind of courtasy when i complained to them after their 50% off Higear weekend earlier this year when I never got the notification email till the Monday :(
