I thought I must be missing out on something really special as 7 had sold already. On checking though I was disappointed that they are obviously not gold plated as they went for £1.59

You see this on ebay quite a bit, in order to avoid re- listing fees if they go out of stock they just put the price up to something silly and then drop it back down when they get the items back in stock.

I contacted the seller and that's exactly what they said - all their items default to the high price when no stock left.
