Just been looking for an electric cable and thought I would ask you lot first. Is a 15mtr mains elec hook up made in 16 amp artic grade blue flex ( tell I read that from somewhere ) ok or totally wrong?

with electric hookup cables I can only say go out and popurchase the factory built product  that has  built in RCD switch and the cable is normally 25amp rated

Better to have sealed unit

You could get water on the join where you plug the trip you descibe in and then get a shock off it

In a tent isn't quite as dry as at home

Ok. The price is such a jump thats why I asked is about £60 what I am looking at spending then?
