I saw a caravan recently with a zipped bag attached to the side which was the awning. Does anybody know what make they are or what they are called?

Are you referring to the roll out type sun shade (with 2 vertical poles) that rolls up and fits along the top of the awning rail then zips up along the length of the bag?

It sounds like an Outdoor Revolution porch awning. I can't remember the details off the top of my head - but it was our first awning and is excellent. We had to replace it with a full-size awning as we now have a lot of canoeing equipment and a dog to take with us. I put an advert on here about this time last year, so you may find it if you do a search.....

Possibly Outdoor Revolution Techlite - you roll the awning up into the bag and either leave it on the awning rail while you travel, or take it off. Really useful for short breaks or if you are moving from one place to another. Only one lightweight pole so really easy to put up - if only they made it big enough to store canoe kit, dog and 2 teenagers!
