Just wondered if anyone has the Mont Blanc Vista 450 450ltr Roof Box

I need some advice on whether this would fit well on a citroen c3 desire. I'm thinking about getting this box alongside a set of roof rails for the C3 to better allocate the space needed when taking our camping stuff.

The one concern I have is there appears 3 mounting points and yet i'll only have 2 bars.

I'm really new to roof racks / boxes (and driving in general) and wondered if anyone can offer any advice, views, etc.

We bought this roofbox a couple of months ago. I'm not sure how big a Citroen C3 is but the roofbox easily fits on our Golf which is a medium sized car. We only have 2 bars on our car and the box screws in place using U shaped bolts which go underneath the bar and fix in place on the inside of the box. Sorry I can't think of a better way to describe this but anyway my point is that you only need 2 bars.

It's the only roofbox we've ever had so I can't compare with any others but we have no complaints with ours.  It's sometimes a bit tricky to lock but I think that's down to the amount we try to cram in it.

Hi
If you are looking at the 3 indents in the side/bottom of the box these are NOT the mounting points there are only 2 mounting points on this box the main thing you need to check is this
IMPORTANT: BEFORE PURCHASING PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE DISTANCE BETWEEN ROOF BARS IS BETWEEN THE FOLLOWING TO FIT THE ROOF BOX 560MM AND 1000MM
There is a pic of it fitted here
Vista 450

Thanks guys. I've never purchased a roofbox before and need one for our glamping :)

Thanks arsenaldes, i had assumed the 3 indents were the mounting points and i'm glad of the explanation and picture.

You will soon fill it up weve gone from a 350l to a 450l and now onto a 580l dont think we can go much bigger
Will probably take you half hour + to fit first time working out which holes to use etc and its easier with 2 people one to hold the u bolts up while the other puts on the nuts. Next time it will only take about 5 minutes as you will know where everything goes. Also a good idea to block off any open mounting holes with tape and if your radio ariel touches the box tape a bit of foam on it to stop it drumming on the bottom of the box.
Some good deals around on the Vista at the moment as well
