Hi navver, was that recently, was it Stainless Steel, and is it Cordless, and of course what was the price.

We have a Breville-VKJ472, 1.8KW and just 1 litre capacity but it's great. So great, we also use it at home.

It's also available in white, at a slightly lesser price.

I can't recommend them highly enough. They're so good, I'm tempted to get another, for when this one bites the dust!

Yep, there are a few Stainless Steel 1lt Kettles out there, I can get the Swan SK31020N which is 2000watt, for under £20 another contender is the Igenix IG7600 nice brushed finish 2200watt at £24, and the on of switch looks more robust than the Swan.

Although I think the Igenix has a plastic window to see water level, whereas the Swan I guess has an internal water level gauge, which is more my style.

You got to get things right when buying a new camping kettle!

It has a Morrison sticker on the bottom. It's old fashioned looking with a handle on the side and long thin spout. Stainless steel and cordless.

We have a small and very old (belonged to grandparents) kettle which we use on our gas hob. Can we use this on our recently purchased double electric hob?

If not off to the supermarket to buy a value kettle...

I have an old corded plastic 2kW kettle that belonged to my late partner for camping, and have thought about replacing it with a cordless one. However, just could not justify replacing something that is in good working order, and I use it perhaps 3 times a day while camping!

This kept happening to us so last year I bought a Kampa low wattage one. It takes longer to boil but we now have no issues or journeys to the reception to get the electric put back on!!
