Hi, we recently bought the Argos loo by Royal for our tent camping, but a sticker on the inside of the loo indicated its made by Thetford.  It worked really well for us during our 2 wk hol (family of 2), however I indicated to my child that it was just for 1-zees, not 2-zees.  The only extra thing that would have been nice with this model is if it had wheels for easy transportation to the chemical waste disposal place ... however I am not sure if this kind of loo that has the waste on wheels is for a larger unit that may be for caravans - perhaps somebody else can give more information on this.

After advice on this site, I was informed to go for a Thetford, but also told that Royal have some of their toilets made by Thetford. As the other post states, my Royal has Thetford underneath. I only bought mine last weekend and used it this weekend for both 1's and 2's. It does breakdown the 2's and very easy to use. I worked out how many capfuls of fluid for the waste and rinse I needed for the size of container and also the water that is needed to fill, making it easy once you are on site.

I'm fairly certain that the containers with wheels are only the caravan ones.  Only fairly certain though so no doubt someone will know for certain.

Lidl's brand of Porta-Poti is made by Thetford, changed our ageing Thetford 235 Porta-Porta last year for one of the Lidl ones, same thing just a little large, with bigger tanks, bargain at £40

We have one of these, which has a really good flush.

We only use it for No1 during the night.
