Hi Joplinette & welcome to the forum  Congratulations on buying a lovely frame tent.

The bedrooms will obviously have sewn-in groundsheets, but it is a good idea to have a 'footprint' groundsheet (just a cheap tarp from B&Q will do) which covers the whole floor area of the tent including under the bedrooms (so that the bottom of them doesn't get wet or mucky).

We use an Outwell carpet in our frame tents - it's like a soft fleecey top with a waterproof bottom, and it's lovely to walk on bare foot. We do have a breathable groundsheet which we use in the living area of our Combi Camp, but to be honest we use a tarp underneath it  as water can rise through it, and if you're staying for a week or more even grass can grow through it

Tent carpets to fit a certain tent can be expensive, shop about on here or other sites. Find out the size of your living area or bedrooms wherever you want carpet, and look for cheaper waterproof backed carpet or extra large picnic rugs.

Ive just bought a Coleman tent carpet, just slightly smaller than our living space, but half the price of Hi Gear carpet and I like the quality better.

Up to now Ive had large picnic rugs in the living area and bedrooms, helps insulate and keeps you warmer.
