Well our good old Go Outdoors cheapo airbed finally died last week, it got put in a bin on the campsite so we couldnt save money & patch it up!! We've gone for the Coleman double airbed, & wow it looks great, looking forward to some good nights sleep now. Managed to get it from Blacks for £30, seems a pretty good price (Millets are the same price) we got it instore, but the website is offering free delivery if you spend over £30, so you could buy a kendal mint cake to make it over the £30 mark
Fab idea :)
Hope you get lots of decent night sleep on it

The Coleman Comfort is a fantastic double/single airbed. We have 3 of them and we love them, The first time we used them i thought i was gonna wake up with a snapped back, but no, what a wonderful nights sleep. We bought ours from charlies direct and i think they were £27.99 each.
I think you can't scrimp when it comes to bedding. When we first started camping we had the blow up mattress & cheapo sleeping bags, & that was it. I used to be freezing cold & hated the thought of more camping holidays, after reading all the brilliant advice on here I now love camping, & this will be the icing on the cake finally getting a decent bed. Mind you theres always something you're after, I want a kitchen stand next!
Great purchase. I've just repaired our Aerobed Active and I'm kipping on it tonight in the living room to make sure it stays up! Weve had it 2 and half years and it had a really tiny hole in the bottom. I was looking at the Coleman as a replacement but hopefully the repair has worked!!
Our colman comfort didn't last 2 trips...had a leak in one of the chambers, so got our money back & got the Intex Queen.........best buy ever lol after the Khampa Khazi!
Yes we had the same problem with our coleman comfort too.We had a leak in one of the chambers and replaced it and then the same thing happened again with the second one so we have an two Intexs held together with a fitted sheet which so far so good seems to have given us a comfortable solution to no sleep!!
It is clearly hit or miss with airbeds. I bought two of the Colman Comforts and both let me down. Each night we were away we had to pump them up. I bought them on the masses of positive reviews.
I returned them to Amazon and bought the Intex Queen pillow airbeds and I'm more than delighted. Definitely a positive move.
