Hello, I've had a look for advice on this and can't see any, so here's my question.
My four year old intex tall queen sized air bed has recently started deflating overnight. I have found the leak and it's in what I think is a tricky place.
The air bed has a built in electric pump, the leak is from where the face plate of the pump is sealed to the bit of plastic that is iteslf sealed to the rubber of the air bed.
My plan is to remove the face plate of the pump, (I will have to get new special star screwdrivers to do this), put some rubber glue stuff around the seal, and screw it all back together tightly.
When the new rubber dries, the seal will be repaired.
Has anyone done anything like this before and can offer any advice or suggest a good sealant?
