My second hand Cabanon Trailer tent (circa 2007) kitchen is not working as well as I would expect. The gas rings don't seem to produce enough heat. They also blow themselves out on maximum setting without a pan although there seems very little pressure to cause this and they burn with a blue colour which is a good sign. I could just get a new kitchen but this is part of the trailer package affecting the balance of the trailer as it hangs onto the back and I want to get this working properly.
Can anybody give me advice on how to maintain the gas systems on these kitchens?
I dont mind buying spare parts or even paying a professional if I must as long as I can get the cooker working efficiently and safely. There is no yellowness to the flames while burning.

If they are screw in type burners try unscrewing & cleaning orifices with thin wire. also if rubber gas pipe is old then replace as bits from inside can flake off & block things up. They do need to be shielded from breeze while in use though or efficiency is reduced. Try boiling a kettle in calm conditions, if it boils in a reasonable time its probably working ok.
