Hi, we have just purchased, privately, an Abbey 318 Aventura 2006 fitted with a Sargent AS210 alarm, caravan had been unused for a while and had to have a new leisure battery, hence the 12v alarm battery was also flat as this is charged from the leisure battery. Having charged the alarm battery the alarm ' bleeps and flashes' but with no response from the fob, the light does come on the fob when pressed' my question is does the remote fob have to be paired again to the main alarm? thanks Graham

As in car fobs the LED can still work but he fob will not transmit. Try a new battery in the fob.

new battery fitted in the key fob, and 12v alarm battery fully charged but still no response from the fob to alarm, think I need to do some sort of pairing the 2 together, did it with a car fob a while a go, but dont know the process for the caravan one, anyone any ideas? thanks Graham.
