Hi, just new to caravanning and I have acquired with my new to me van a Doreema Montanna size 14 awning.  I have looked around for an illustrated instruction list to help me put it up.  But I cannot find spares, could anyone help as to where I would get a few spare poles.  Also how do the poles attach  to the van.  There are five poles with hooks on, do I need plates of some sort screwed into the van or is there an easier option.  Like I say new to caravanning and would appreciate any help.  Regards Karen

Hi and welcome to the forum. This is how the poles attach to the van by using the Dorema quick lock pads. If you have 5 poles that join the caravan then you need 5 of these pads. You slide the pad along the awning bead then lock the pad in place by the thumb screw. The poles with the hooks fit into each slot then you extend the poles as normal. If you put in a search for Dorema quick lock pads som pictures show more information.
