Seen one of these in the camping under canvas section and wondered if it would be a good bit of kit to get around the fumes given off from gas stoves when camping in a tent.
Anyone any experience of these and would it be worth the £25 or just be another bit of kit to fit in the car I wouldn't use???
No get the Multicooker instead weve cooked fry ups, stews, pizza, pies to name but a few things in ours and wouldnt be without it. Shop around for a decent price as there are several brands we paid £14.99 for ours last year and we dont take our double electric hob anymore

I have an electric double hob which I bought from a carboot for £2 and wouldn't change it for a multi cooker as I like having the option to use two hobs at once (site ampage permiting) as I'm feeding 5. I bought a campingaz bag for it although support it from the bottom when carrying as I have my concerns about the weight as I guess it is heavier than a gas hob but not sure.
I love the multicooker so much I've now got one for use at home as well and keeping one in the caravan.
Even tho I've got a cooker in the van I love having the versatility of being able to cook breakfast outside on a lovely morning. If we have a bbq I cook chipped up potatoes in it then any meat left I add to the potatoes and it keeps everything warm for people to have seconds if they want. I just run an extension lead out to it and it sits by our table where we eat
Another fan of the multi-cooker - ours is getting on for 40 years old! Easily do a fry-up breakfast for 6 in it, or pancakes, or use it to warm up part-cook rolls, or stir-fry, or slow-cook, or ....
Easiest roast dinner - throw in a few chicken portions, bag of baby carrots, bag of salad potatoes, maybe a an onion cut in half, a few sprigs of herbs. (Leeks and parsnips work well too) Cover and cook for an hour - the most amazing smell wafting across the campsite!!
We've got an electric frying pan which we use in our trailer tent. It's large and flat but I wouldn't be without it. It makes the most fantastic breakfasts and you can also do pasta sauces, risotto and lots of other things. I did try doing a pizza in it once but that didn't really work. The downside is where to put the heavy hot lid when you turn the food over or add other items. The glass lid is an integral part of the cooking system - you can't cook without it. I got one second hand for about £10 and think it was a great buy.

For pizza, we use thin and crispy, turn it up to max with the lid on when hot drop in the pizza put the lid back on and dont lift the lid until the cheese melts then take out asap. If you try to cook on a lower heat or keep lifting the lid the base will burn before the cheese melts
