Currently sitting in our new Athens 6 tent and feeling rather pleased with myself on my purchase.

Had a brain wave whilst in b&q picking up some leads etc to make our tent lights when I saw a pack of 3 remote controlled plugs for £10. Now I can turn my lights on on approach to tent and can turn our kitchen or living room of from a sitting position. Will hook the third one up to our bedroom light, bliss B-)

That's a great idea, we bought a bunch of PiR battery operated lamps, they were on clearance at B&Q a couple years back. Osram SpyLux they run of a couple of AAA batteries and being led last for ages.

Around £2 a pop so got 10, we just have them dotted in and around the tent, saves having to fumble around in the middle of the night, and they come on as we approach the tent, great little lamps and are a good back up should the EHU go down.

Now that is luxury. Unfortunately don't do electric hook up but if we did would think about some of these.

We've got these too, they're brilliant and quite cheap. Handy for awkward to reach sockets. Tesco and Asda do them for about £10-£15.

Unfortunately, We cannot find a remote for the eldest ??

We had the remote lantern from Argos a few years ago, still going strong.
