Is it OK to use a slowcooker in a tent rather than a caravan - or is that not really a consideration to worry about?
Mind you, mine's about 27 years old so I think it might be best left at home!

I would have thought that as long as it's off the floor on a heat resistant surface and well away from the sides, it should be fine... Will definitely be taking mine when we next go camping with EHU...

Mine doesn't really make much steam.
The sides do get hot, I think it should be better insulated, but im in the process of knitting a little wrap for it to better insulate it so it doesn't lose as much heat (kind if like you'd wrap a water cistern).
