In our awning bag stuff there are 2 plastic things. Blue, shaped like a small travel iron but flat with a handle, plastic, with what looks like a row of hook shaped bits running along the bottom. Says ecotherm on them. We are stumped as to what they are and what they're for- any ideas?

They're the supports for a clothes dryer which hooks over a caravan window. Is there a plastic coated grill type thing which might be the bit you hang the clothes on?

Thanks Pyranha - we would never have worked it out, especially since they were in the awning bag lol! No grill thing but now we know what they are we could always rig them up with a bit of string. Brill

I'd never have got it from the description, proof that a photo helps.
Example of what it would normally appear like; not sure if string would work as the frame acts the main support for the whole thing ...

When I read it back i'd be surprised if anyone had got it from my description lol. I take it witout the grill bit it is obsolete if the string would be no good?

You could give it a go, but having one of these ourselves I doubt it would stay put if used with string. The 'grill' bit supports the whole thing and keeps the blue hook parts apart and solid enough to hang over the window opening (or similar).
In all honesty, these are cheap enough at about £6-8 to get a new one complete.
