Hi, I am not familiar with the STH 1000 Antenna. However I have had problems of Pixelation with a portable ariel.Not the fault of either TV( avtex ) or the ariel (Vision Plus). I found that only the slightest of movement of the 'pole' fixed into an earth stake would cause this. It is a case of the wind catching the ariel, and this being highish on the pole the wobble becomes exagerated, no matter that the pole did not appear to be moving at ground level. We overcame it with 2 point fixing on the side of the van, in order to cut down the length of the pole ( so reducing its flex ) but keeping the ariel in its optimal 'eye sight', so to speak. If, with your stickon antenna you have the possiblity of increasing its foothold, I dont think you will have a problem as you say the picture is more stable within the confines of the van....but that if you move about ( as we all do inside ) then it can happen again. That could be the flex of the van and its movement. Hope thus helps.
