I am thinking of buying a snooper s7000 has anyone used one and does it have voice commands, I have a built in nav tech that takes verbal commands such as "zoom in/zoom out" any comments or info please thank you

I used Snooper some years back and gave up on the system as it gave so many false alerts as result of door openers and so on.

Better to get GPS with database of 'safety' cameras which most have.

'Door Openers' please enlighten me?

Snooper S7000 is not voice controlled, and tried to send us down Sutton Bank in North Yorkshire recently which is a definite NO CARAVAN route.....and yes we had selected the caravan option as i treble checked that it wasn't operator error. It does have a 'safety camera aka money making camera database built in which can be updated with subscription.

Other than that we are very pleased with our Snooper and CC have special offers, as do C&CC with Garmin

Yes, my Snooper radar detector would pick up on door openers and many other spurious sources of radar reflection.

Please forgive me if I mistook the s7000 referred to as a radar detector and not a GPS.
