With electric hook up and winter nights, chances are we will use the TV while we are away in the van this new year.
We had a caravan tv in there with a dvd player incorp but the viewing angle is awful, the dvd has given up the ghost, and its the only time we make time to sit and watch a film.
Has anyone got a TV preferably with a dvd incoporated they would reccommend
Thanks
I bought something similar to this tv/dvd combi only mine is approx 5 years old now, so less specs than this - and it was over £100! You can swivel the screen so that you can get any angle you want. Also handy with a 2 hr lithium battery if off EHU, and can be charged from car 12v cig lighter.
I only have a small van, so a small tv is just the job. Only the little magnetic aerial is a bit useless. I keep mine in a laptop bag as it folds away just like a laptop. Think mine has a 10" screen size.
Bought an Avtex 18.5DRS recently. I can't fault it! We were watching Sat TV in HD in the New Forest the other week and we concluded that it was well worth the arm and a leg!

I've a Kogan and have been very pleased with it, despite the odd mixed review by some users (my Technica/Tesco set packed up after about 15 months minimum use).
I find viewing angle good enough for our use, and although they're supplied for mains use you can buy an optional 12volt cable.
They're currently selling 16" TV/DVD/PVR's for £79 and a 19" version for £89
We've used the Tesco & Morrisons for the last 3 years and no problems. Mam has used a 32" from Morrisons for 2 years & I've had my 32" Tesco for just over a year and no problems with any of them.
We won't do the laptop we both have to use laptops at work! We don't take time to watch movies at home, so will enjoy it on maybe a 21 inch screen due to where it's got to fit.
We use an Avtex W164DR (16") TV with DVD built in. Excellent piece of equipment. We use it both on Digital with the c'van's Status 530 TV aerial and with our portable Maxview satellite dish and Humax Foxsat sat receiver on the Continent and in UK when the the digital signal is poor. We've been very pleased with this set for the year that we've had it.
In fact I'm selling a brand new and identical TV which I bought in the Discover Leisure closing down sale. I'm open to offers around £230 - email me on carabiker at blueyonder dot co dot uk if you're interested.
Buy a decent branded make such as Sony or Toshiba, not an expensive Avtex. I bought a Philips 26" from John Lewis, as the smaller TVs had poor sound. Surprisingly, it doesn't look that big, and the sound is great.

Hi. I agree about the mouse like sound on the Avtex. However, I discovered the FM transmitter function and it now plays through the caravan speakers at 97.00FM!
Wunnerful!

Just bought from Asda the Polaroid 15.6" HD ready LED TV, for £69 it is spot on. Unlike the LCD TV have found no problem with the viewing angle. No DVD but you can pick up a mini one for about £15
We have a 22" LED Polaroid with built in dvd from Asda £129.99, bought it on route to a site about 6 months ago, yes we parked in Asda carpark with our 24' Abbey Aventura van!!! ps LED is a much sharper picture than LCD
