We have a flashing light on our panel which only goes away when we remove the fuse linked to the water pump and heater, I'd the fuse is in all the interior lights flash, highly annoying as we are in it for the next 3 weeks and cannot use the shower and are having to rely on buckets of water etc

Any ideas

Looks like something is pulling excessive 12 volts. If lights are ok with pump fuse removed i would suspect pump gone tight seizing.

Can you hear pump at all .Is it stopping starting all the time.Has your van got pressure switch where pipe enters van inside or micro-switches on taps.If pressure switch and pump can be heard stopping and starting try adjusting knob on top of switch .Also non return valve could be leaking letting water back causing it to stop and start. If pump does not run at all can you check voltage at pump connector. If voltage ok with taps open see if pump impeller will turn using a thin screwdriver poked in,if not change pump.Hope this may help.

the light on the panel will come on when you are using the pump and a tap is open, should go off after a few seconds when the tap is closed.if the lights and pump are running all the time it needs to be reset on the pressure switch.if you do not have a pressurized sysytem then it could be a micro switch on one of the taps is stuck in the open position making the pump run non stop. the heater only works on gas or 240 volts on EHU. heater will not work if the pump is faulty because it has no water inside it and will trip out. make sure your drain plug/tap is closed or the pump will run and run. if the lights are dimming when you try to use the pump it could be a flat battery or a faulty charger.(swift are well known for faulty chargers) hence flat batteries. the taps will have wires going to them if you have micro switches. if you are going for three weeks then buy a new pump to try and as a spare when away.which heater do you have carver 2 or truma round one.

Sounds like a poor connection on the main 12V in. This would cause excessive voltage drop on all 12V circuits and not blow the fuse.
