Worthy cause, from our position, in the house with lights, computer and central heating on this appears an interesting oddity. For camping no, most of today's flexi poles tents couldn't support it. As with the windup lanterns soon disposed of as they are just annoying.
But go back just a few generations, Great grandma Sarah died with two of her grandchildren from a fire caused by a kerosene lamp in Wilmer road Birkenhead. So we have come far, lets not forget those less fortunate.
