We were having a look in GO today at a carpet for our kalahari 10, and it states that it will only fit in the living area of the tent. So,(excuse my thickness), does this mean that its only a square that fits in the middle assuming that you have both sleeping sections up inside the tent?

If so, I think £64 for a piece of square material is a bit expensive.

Hi, yep it is, we have the kalahari 8 and it will be the same. Yep bit expensive but nice bit of luxury. I going to look on ebay as seen new ones cheaper that will fit. We want an extra one as only have one side of bedroom pods up. :)

we're the same, we only have one side of bedroom pods up to give a bigger living area, plus with only 4 of us, we can get away with only one pod. So, we would need a bigger carpet than the specific version.

go-outdoors have the corado 8 carpet on offer for £34.99 cut that down and save yourself £30- shaun 0r get 2 for £70 and you can cover the whole tent

Look on eBay dude. I just got a gelert 385 x 250 large carpet from tent spares for £25.00. They do loads of sizes. They are ex display apparently but it looks brand new.

Glad I read this thread. It may be an obvious thought,but it hadn't crossed my mind to look at getting the cheapest carpet (regardless of make etc) which is a close enough fit etc.

Got one for a Tigris/Nevis 400 of Ebay - brand new for a tenner plus p&p. Last year's colour - who cares?? It's blue like the tent. I'm surprised how light it is, expected it to be heavier. Looks decent quality though.
