Hi..
Not done any conversion but when we first bought our current MH,as it's "gas only", I did ask the question on another forum.
From what I was told,the "basic" electric conversion kit is for hot only and that it's not as efficient as heating it on gas anyway...
...and with the costs involved,if gas usage was an issue,it would probably make sense to look at spending the money on a decent sized,refillable gas cylinder instead...
(Oops! Just realised that we're not talking about MHs...so refilling a gas bottle would probably a bit more of a chore,with it being in a caravan..)
