Anyone let me know if it's possible to buy an extension lead
about a foot long or will I need to buy bigger hook up ???
Thanks in advance xx
How long is yours??! They're usually 25m long, although you can buy shorter ones, which will join with your current one - you would then need to buy a waterproof cover for the join.
Alternatively it must be possible to buy the appropriate length of cable and just take the connectors off of your current cable and use them on the new one.

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about....?
or even work out the amount of cable you need and buy armoured cable, no chance of it being damaged then (assuming thats the reason you didnt want a standard 25m cable)
If its a permanent pitch it is better to have a single length of cable the of right length. You can buy the correct heavy duty 16amp cable from B&Q, get the correct length & remove plug & sockets from your existing cable & use those. If you can find a small electrical shop they may sell you the cable & change the plug/socket for less than the price of a 25m cable from a caravan shop.
