I am a newbie to caravaning and I started back end of last year after I bought a 1991 Ellddis Wisp 450ct. Its old but in good nick and will do me at least a couple of years. What I want to know is it has no tv and I want to put one in what do I buy.

It has an old round saucer dish type ariel on the top which looks out of date. So I want a tv I can get freeview or freesat on and good reception with out breaking the bank. Aldi recently had a system in for caravans but tv looked tiny.

Any advice would be great.

Any TV with a digital tuner should work with the Status aerial. We tend to use satellite as we can pick up regional programmes on that whilst we are away and we also use it in Europe.

The problem with freeview is that you have to tune in depending on what part of the country you are in.  However once you have done it you get the usual range of TV and Radio stations.

The problem with freesat is that you have to align the dish, I don't find this too hard.  There is not such a good range of chanels however you can pick up your home regional chanel and you can use it if you are abroad.
