Has anyone used a particular brand or type of solar light round the tent or caravan. We are on a seasonal pitch this year and I was thinking of putting a few of these round the van, by guide ropes and things. Does anyone else do this, I was thinking that we wont allays be there and dont want people walking into guide ropes around my unlit caravan. Thanks

I have 2 sets of solar fairy lights which I bought off eBay. They look fab round my little caravan or tents.
I also use LED tent pegs to highlight the end of my guy lines which work really well.

How about using reflective guys instead?

Reflective Guys

I don't have a good picture of how effective they are, however, they do the job.

Single 99p solar lights from QD for the 2 front guys and solar fairy lights around the porch, some peops hate them on tents, but a lot of us on here love them round our tents!

Similar to these lights

Just seen these possibly easier as it won't be able to knock them over so easily fibre optic

Thanks for your replies. I think I will go with the fibre optic ones I dont think they are as likely to be picked up and used to hit each other with, kids the little darlings. I shall order them now. Thanks again.

With kids around you need to be careful that the cable between the lights doesn't create a trip hazard.

Yes thank you. I was thinking that the pitch we are on is stone so I should be able to bury the connecting wires. In past experience the other stand alone type can be picked up and used as javelins.or picked up and used as hammers. Kids, dont you just love them.
