Peggy pegs are large screws so why does the video show the peg being hammered in all the way?

I do not recall seeing the pegs being hammered into the ground fully in the video, screwed into the ground using a drill, yes.

If the ground is hard, then they won't go all the way into the ground with a drill, based on my experience with Peggy Pegs.

I carry a variety of pegs to cater for different ground conditions.

Deltas for normal to soft ground, rock pegs for hard grounds, angled steel pegs for normal to soft ground, stainless hook pegs (far better than those supplied with tents) for securing non-loading points on the tent and for fixing the Delta dog tether.

Also Peggy Pegs which are less strenuous on the arms.

I've managed peggys in very hard ground ... the shorter ones work better in those conditions.
Never used a hammer!
