Which heaters are generally considered best for camping, and do you tend to use them just in the bedrooms or in the 'living area' too?

I've never bothered with any before as I have only ever gone when it is lovely and hot... but I would like to give us a bit more opportunity this year so thought a heater might be a good additional buy!

I take a small fan heater with me.

It is a 2kw heater but I have only ever used it on the 1kw setting.
It has variable heat, thermostat control, safety cut out and cool air function.

I usually place the heater in the living area with the bedroom pod doors open to allow air to circulate.

At the beginning and end of the season, we tend to set the heat setting to about 1/2 and then leave it to click on and off all night as the temperature fluctuates.
We find this is more than enough to keep our 8 berth Khyam Ontario cosy and warm.

we take the half sized oil filled radiator, we went march last year and had a ground frost in the morning, i woke up in just my shorts and lying on top of the sleeping bags :D

we find it difficult to keep living area warm tho :(
