HI ALL..I ORDERED A OUTWELL LAKEVIEW DOWN SLEEPING BAG..IT SAYS ITS 3 SEASON BUT IT GOES DOWN TO MINUS 3..WOULD IT BE A WARM ENOUGH BAG FOR WINTER AS ITS GOT 700 FILL OF DOWN..MY MATES GOT A MUMMY BAG WITH A FILL OF 850..IS THERE MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE..BUT AT £50.00 REDUCED FROM £120.00 I THINK IL STILL BUY IT AND USE IT FROM NOW TILL LATE SEPT IF ITS TOO COLD ILL USE MY 5 SEASON FISHING BAGS...CHEERS..STEWEY

If it was me I would not use it in winter conditions, I have a 4 season bag which is just about right in today's conditions.
If you do want to use in in cold conditions maybe double it up with some type of bivvy bag
In this weather, I would incline to take the 4/5 season sleeping bag. If you take the down bag, then take something else and double up.
